First off, I noticed there's a lot of people lurking around who have friended me and I'm not sure who most of you are, lol. So, uh, introduce yourself, say hi, do something. Otherwise it's like you're stalking me, rofl.
On to the real post.
What is it that's so marvelous about being able to sit and do nothing with Charles and enjoy it? The last 4 days we've spent at least a few hours together each day. And we really did pretty much nothing for the entirety of them. I was talking to Jenna about it today and explaining it to her. I couldn't figure out why I had thought it was so wonderful that we were being so lazy we didn't even turn on a movie or something. We just sat around talking. I cleaned some of my room while he played video games. He helped me fold laundry without even being asked to. And it hit me this evening. We don't need entertainment to preoccupy us. I don't get bored when I'm just sitting around with him. It makes me so happy because that's the way relationships end up after a long time of being together and getting comfortable, but we got to skip all that beginning stuff and get right to it. It's nice to know we enjoy each others' company that much that we don't need anything to do and I don't feel the need to go out on "dates." Though we finally did go on what I would consider to be our first day. To Parasson's of all places, rofl. How fitting (those of you from Manchester should understand that). Then we went and bought fishies together. He named the big silver ones Cleopatra and Zangief. I named the one little tiger something or another fish Moe, cause he's a bully. The one Kuhli loach is named "Mr. Stripey-pants" in honor of Calvin and Hobbes. And I still need to name the other loach. The other 6 tiger fish don't get names cause we're lazy. Well and we'd never be able to tell them apart.
I found a few more places to apply to today. Tomorrow will be the day of rewriting my resume like 3 different ways and dropping it and some apps off at places.
And now I'm out of things to say. So I'll stop rambling and let myself play some video games for the first time since I moved.
