"New York City... center of the universe"

Today finished up my last real class of the quarter. Woo! Tomorrow is the super scary "mystery bag" day in class, but our normal chef isn't there and I actually ended up in a decent group of people for this. I'm essentially planning on riding on their coattails. Turnabout is fair play, right? Then I just have to live through finals. Which I'm not too terribly worried about. The cooking practical actually sounds easier than last quarter's and the knife skills is the same. The baking practical on Monday I am _uber_ prepared for.
I'm taking my notecards with me to New York this weekend so I can study during down time, lol. I also bought myself a Wilton's cake decorating practice boards so I'll be better at my piping.
 I'm not quite as nervous about tomorrow as I was. I planned the hell out of things like usual and got everything I can packed up tonight. Just gotta pick up some cash  and a travel size stuffs and I'm all good. Here's hoping everything runs better than the last time I had to travel far!
